QB2002Pro: Breaking shipment for resale DILLIGAS 02/08/04
I have a client who purchases large amounts of items from various vendors. Breaks the original shipment down then resels the items. (He buys hardware in bulk (eg: Screws, nails, etc) In 1K & 10K lots, then sells them in lots of 2, 4, 12, 20, 25, 100, & 144).
He does not value add, nor does he install and resell ammended items, just the memory.
How would I explain to him to track the incoming items and track his unventory for the items he sells, and what remians in stock.
All of his various memory is inventoried as individual lots, he does not track individual items, just the quantity that he resells.
It seems complicated to have an intake of 10K items, and then have to inventory each single item as an individual sale.
Is there a way to set up QB2002Pro to know that when 10 sales of 100 have been completed, the original order of 1K is gone and needs to be reordered? (Or whatever level he is fit to set reorder at?)
    Thanks,
    DILLIGAS
