Schools bans national anthem! |

and they wonder why we don't like Muslims? http://www.news.com.au/story/0,27574,24754060-1248,00.html a school at the centre of a controversy to establish a new Muslim school has banned playing of the national anthem. Anywhere else in the world such people would be subject to an extreme reaction but they are permitted to conduct business as usual here. The values of these people are our values and therefore the establishment of their school is rightly opposed. |
Clarification/Follow-up by paraclete on 12/06/08 6:51 am: Yes labman the Catholics are more patriotic perhaps remembering the oppressions in such places as Ireland and Poland, they understand that liberty is bought with a price but the Muslim think liberty is bought by running away and oppressing others.
We must resist most strongly all those who would destroy our national heritage and this is the same whether in Australia or the USA, it is a shame the British think appeasement will buy them peace as if the lessons of WWII were not learned, Well I for one learned the lesson. Liberty is bought with a price, it was bought with my grand father's blood and we must not let our grandchildren give it up because of some stupid notion that freedom of religion means anything goes
