Appearently the Maldives, a small muslim nation in the indian ocean has sufficient resources to buy themselves a new homeland, but why should they think of the continent of Australia, the dryest contentent on Earth. To go from perhaps the wettest and most cramped place to the dryest and most open seems a contrast to large to comtemplate, nor would there particularly militant form of Islam be welcomed in Australia, even in the vast deserts of its uninhabited west. There is no support infrastructure available for thgis nation to simply buy and migrate too!
I think this is the height of arrogance, that this country should simgle out another as a target for migration |

I suggest they try buying Kerlergen Is. or Nauru although both suffer from lack of inferstructure to accommodate 300,000 people. Yes it does look like climate change does actually affect someone adversely, this, of course, is contrary to the wisdom of the free traders of the USA who think the market will fix it. Don't worry about moving them, the airlines have plenty of empty planes and just to help Tom out, you remember we have an effective solution to unwanted migration it's called the Pacific solution.
It is no good coming to Australia we have only deserts and lack of water to offer, not much good to a nation of fishermen and waiters also they are militant Muslims, that will have to change before we could accept them, we have enough locally grown ratbags of that variety already courtesy the bleeding heart liberals of the UN
