Why do the European’s hate America?.............. Dark_Crow 06/22/07
I’m told it is because of capitalism; especially Germany, others say it is still a “Jewish” problem. That the moods of the rural populations reflect the mood of the thirties, and when the economy fails, and it will, there will be hell to pay.

Which brings me to the other question: Why don’t we pay attention to where our future lies, across the Pacific, and forget about the E.U. and especially Germany; where Democracy will soon end - That is, stop asking why certain people are not our friends (I already know, they have become Socialist.) .

      Clarification/Follow-up by Mathatmacoat on 06/30/07 12:35 am:
You ask if I know what I am talking about and then launch into a communistic tirade. You hold much in common with your stated enemies, you are intolerant.

I said the Americans are unloved because they are exploiters, this is not just the Captains of Industry but the millions of those who serve them. I didn't suggest you are alone in this, there are others who are equally unloved and equally exploitive. You appearently think that capitalism and socialism cannot coexist, that is incorrect as my own nation has proven, There is room for both where government set and enforce fair conditions for workers and regulate trade without stiffling enterprise, and where the repressive taxation systems so loved by the socially minded has been turned around, a lesson your nation would do well to heed. We have not succeeded in stamping out the exploiters but we do bring them to heel. We do not need an overblown military presence to enforce our will on the world and we do not send cannon fodder on the battle field in the form of ill trained youth

      Clarification/Follow-up by Dark_Crow on 06/30/07 5:11 pm:
Capitalism and socialism cannot co-exist any more than socialism and religion can co-exist. Claiming that free market capitalism can co-exist within any type of state-collectivist economy ignores the fact that the basis for free market capitalism is freedom – freedom and non-freedom respectively, cannot co-exist. Free market capitalism is based upon inherent individual rights while socialism is based on government-granted special privileges.
