Bush Hails Carter as Best Former President	Itsdb	05/25/07
by Scott Ott (2007-05-20) — Just a day after former President Jimmy Carter told reporters that the Bush administration is “the worst in history” the current White House resident called Mr. Carter “the best former president ever.” “I know that President Carter and I have had our differences,” said Mr. Bush, “But I think most Americans will agree with me that he’s a terrific ex-president. Things have never been better since Jimmy Carter left office.” Mr. Bush pointed to an array of improvements, including a stable growing economy, lower taxes, reduced inflation and unemployment and increased American strength and preparedness — all of which he associated with Mr. Carter’s years as a former president. “I think history will judge President Carter’s post-White House tenure favorably,” said Mr. Bush, “As a former president, Mr. Carter has overseen the nation’s longest period of expansion and growth in opportunity.”
Clarification/Follow-up by tomder55 on 05/25/07 5:36 pm: Earlier this month Carter said that it was a terrible error for Jews to align with Christians Zionists because their goal is to convert Jews to Christianity or else burn in hell. Carter started out ok with 'Habitat for Humanity 'an organization I still donate to and give time to when they are working locally . But , he opened the 'Carter Center ' and did his global tour to certify dictators sham elections . Recently he has a major case of BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome)and has taken the unprecedented (at least in modern times) step by an ex-President to publically personally critize the sitting President and his polices . He also has gone from an honest broker regarding the Israeli/Palestinian issues to a pure Palestinian advocate. He speaks of the Israelis in conspiratoral terms that are just this side of the most vile propaganda that the Islamists say of the Jews.
