Yes, Steve. In the movie "Something About Amelia" (1984, made for ABC TV, directed by Randa Hanes, starring Ted Danson, Glenn Close, and Roxana Zal) Danson plays a child molester/sexually abusive father to Roxana Zal's character. It was actually a pretty good TV film, and one of the earliest TV programs to discuss incest and child abuse openly as its major plotline. Zal was (still is?) the youngest person to win a Prime Time Emmy for her role in this film, and Danson was highly acreddited for the film as well.

By the logic of the LA Times, Danson now has to answer for being a child molester because he played one on TV 26 years ago.
