What exactly is...	Itsdb	01/16/07
...a "fact finding mission" anyway? And why are so many potential presidential candidates running around all over the globe? What business do they have injecting themselves in US foregin policy? NM governor Bill Richardson has recently supposedly negotiated a ceasefire in the Sudan and met with the Norks over their nukes. Hillary is on a "fact-finding" mission to Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan, calling for more troops to head off a "big spring offensive" by the Taliban and al Qaeda. Where will Obama go? Do any of these solo missions help further US interests?
Clarification/Follow-up by tomder55 on 01/17/07 3:02 pm: The question becomes this : Did Hillary know in advance that the adminstration was considering adding troops strength to Afghanistan ? Did she do a Shumer and coopt the announcement ? or Is the adminstration suddenly acting on Hillary's recomendations ? (snicker )
