President Bush made a statement at his news conference this a.m. that went something like this:
If we don't beat them (Muslims/insurgents) over there, we'll have to beat them here (United States).
I agree 100%. How about you?

The two things have nothing to do with each other.
First of all, we can NEVER "beat them". Since when can a foreign army defeat guerrilla fighting force on their own territory. (See 1776 and other examples)
Terrororist events can only be contained by intelligence and the police(Scotland Yard for exampld).
I think quite a few men on AW think that terrorism can be beaten by force and violence. As we see from the Iraq War, war only increases the number of terrorists per statements by officers in our army.
