This statement is very disappointing:- QUOTATION OF THE DAY N Y TIMES. July, 22 2006. "What I won’t do is go to some place and try to get a cease-fire that I know isn’t going to last." CONDOLEEZZA RICE, the secretary of state, on the fighting in Lebanon. Are you disappointed??
Clarification/Follow-up by Jim.McGinness on 07/22/06 3:01 pm: No, I'm not disappointed. While I do not hold this administration in much esteem, Secretary Rice appears to telling the hard truth in this case. On the whole, I remain discouraged regarding the possibilty of a satisfactory resolution.
