"Survivor Lebanon" jackreade 07/20/06
"Bush greenlights Israeli bombing of Lebanon with 25,000 Americans in-country and no plan for evacuation. Just like what happened when Katrina struck New Orleans, once again Amercans are left on their own while Republican government pursues a hidden ideological agenda and protects the interests of a select few." Dave Johnson

Canada's Globe and Mail seems to think the 'green light' has turned yellow.

I didn't miss the point ;his point was flawed and I pointed that out . Hezbollah attacks Israel ....is Bush supposed to say do't do anything for a week until we can plan to evacuate American citizens who are there in spite of general State Dept. warnings ,that have been issued for at least 6 years ,for them not to be there ?

I lived in a less than safe place for me and understood and accepted the risk. If I lived in a flood plain I would expect to get wet .Like I said ;it is indicitive of this passive reliance on nanny-State that is in the mind-set of Dave Johnson's posting .

Clete, what's amazing is that Bush is both 'all knowing' and 'dumber than dirt' at the same time according to the critics. Which is it? Is he omniscient and omnipotent or clueless and impotent?
