Clarification/Follow-up by ETWolverine on 06/20/06 1:52 pm: Well now... it seems that the terrorists who demand better human rights for POWs at Gitmo under the Geneva Conventions are hypocrits.
I'm shocked, shocked I say, to discover that the terrorists are evil people who don't treat their enemies anywhere near as well as they demand to be treated by their enemies.
It seems that the two soldiers captured by al Qaeda were summarily executed. (Possibly they were tortured first, but I don't know about that.)
Compared to the 3 sqaure hallal meals per day, soccer fields, gym equipment, TV, free library, prayer services, free Korans, etc. that the POWs at Gitmo are receiving, I'd venture to say that the treatment of the captured American GIs was a bit... shall we say... excessively violent?
Can we drop the bogus claims of "torturing" prisoners now?
