our biggestr mistake so far was thinking the EU-3 would be able to come up with a negotiated settlement to this emerging crisis . Iran of course played them like a Stradivarius as they have with the lame IAEA.We will soon see if the UN has any cohones left . The IAEA report to the Security Council made it clear that Iran is on complete violation of the NPT ;has lied repeatedly to the IAEA about it's progress .What they have admited to is that they have enriched uranium to 4% .When they reach 90% they will have a bomb and that will come at a much quicker pace now that they have P-2 centerfuges .

Perhaps Russia and China will not use their veto powers but I think one of them will . In that case it is either build a coalition outside of the UN to deal with Iran or act unilaterally ....or accept a nuclear Iran and all that implies .

I note all the moonbats who do not like inteventionism were out ion force yesterday in Washingtonm DC demanding that we do "something " to stop the genocide in Darfur . They did not see the irony in their protest .
