Nuclear Weapons Test, Nevada, June 2 |

Is this test to determine how effective small nuclear weapons might be in an invasion situation, say, such as Iran? |

Yes Jack,
I meant Iran :)...
I know its not a popular opinion, but on the other hand, I just don't think the US should go around the whole world saying who can and who can't use nuclear power.
Clarification/Follow-up by ETWolverine on 04/27/06 5:22 pm: Powderpuff,
So then you believe than anyone should be allowed to own a nuke, no matter their political leanings or their stated intentions to both use that nuclear technology to attack their enemies and to sell it to anyone else who comes along?
Good. Then you don't mind more nuclear reactors being built here in America to provide cheap, clean, sustainable, long-term power to resolve our reliance on fossil fuels.
And you won't mind if Disney uses their nuclear license (yes, they really have a nuclear license) to build a dedicated nuclear power plant in the middle of Florida to serve their incredibly high power needs.
And if I manage to build a nuke in my basement, you don't mind if I have it, because you don't think that the government should be able to stop anyone from developing nuclear technology.
So guns should be illegal, but nukes are fine, because the government shouldn't determine who can and can't have nukes...
