What happened? excon 10/27/05

    Hello Wishersthenextonewilloverturnroe:

The Miers debacle was foreseeable. It does NOT have the smell and feel of a Karl Rove tactic. I can't believe that Rove didn't see it coming? Is he out of the loop? Without his stringpulling, George is a loose cannon. Who is running the show? Andy Card? Laura? Jeb? 41?

I'm worried. Tom, you seem to know about this stuff.

First correcting a misconception . Roe is not in my cross hairs because even if it were overturned most States would still allow it . My concern has always been judges who legislate;use laws from other nations as a determining factor in their decisions ; and who use convoluted logic and' stare decisis' for the sake of cementing into the law flawed decisions from the past .

I have a dream. Bush will announce Michael Luttig as his next nominee on the same day that Fitzgerald announces the idictments of Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame.

When I wake up I'll have more on Rove et al.(yes I think Rove was preoccupied .Word was that Andy Card blocked inside dissent from reaching Bush's ear before the nomination was made and that Mier's assistant was assigned to vet her ....."yeah boss ..you are qualified "

It's wierd when the Executive Branch is in a shambles.

      That's not necessarily a bad thing. :)

no ;not at all . people are acting like this is a new thing . lets say worse case both Rove and Libby ,and even Cheney are brought down ;Bush just has to cut em loose and move on . There are plenty of willing and able replacements ;they are not indespensible. I am suprised by the reaction here. We have a case where the people who voted for someone is demanding that they follow through on their campaign promises . That is a good thing but I guess it is so unusal that it brings shock waves .
