I am wondering, is if against FCC Regulations to call for the murder of an individual on a television broadcast?
If a person calls for the murder of an individual in America, isn't that assault? Who files a complaint...the person whose murder is called for. Does it matter if the person is not an American?
Is calling for murder "protected speech"??? Thanks in advance. |
Clarification/Follow-up by Itsdb on 08/25/05 7:21 am: Choux,
It is the right that has pushed for looser standards over the airwaves? Give me a break. If you listen to the left, out of one side of their mouth they say they're all that's standing between Republicans and censorship. Out of the other their demanding censorship of anything that doesn't meet their standards.
As I stated, what Robertson said was stupid and irresponsible, but I am still waiting for their indignance at the stupid and irresponsible things coming from their side of the fence. Will they join me in repudiating their own idiots or will they continue their hypocrisy?
