Tell me, wadd I say?? excon 07/21/05

    Hello experts:

"I will fire anyone involved in the leak." "I will fire anyone who committed a crime." "I will fire anyone who doesn't win his appeal after he's convicted. "I will fire anyone who is denied parole."

"Hell, I aint gonna fire any of my friends, and yes, I lied."

Are you proud of him? Or are you gonna spin it and tell me how wonderful he is?

One thing for certain . There are hearings on Capitol Hill now about a possible Federal Shield law . I am going to suggest to my Congressman that no such law be enacted until this case is resolved . There is credible evidence of a press coverup about their role in this . We know that the following people in the press had their 'contact records' with the White House suppoenaed regarding the Wilson Times op-ed :

Robert Novak, "Crossfire," "Capital Gang" and the Chicago Sun-Times
Knut Royce and Timothy M. Phelps, Newsday
Walter Pincus, Richard Leiby, Mike Allen, Dana Priest and Glenn Kessler, The Washington Post
Matthew Cooper, John Dickerson, Massimo Calabresi, Michael Duffy and James Carney, Time magazine
      Evan Thomas, Newsweek
Andrea Mitchell, "Meet the Press," NBC
      Chris Matthews, "Hardball," MSNBC
      Tim Russert, Campbell Brown, NBC
Nicholas D. Kristof, David E. Sanger and Judith Miller, The New York Times
Greg Hitt and Paul Gigot, The Wall Street Journal
      John Solomon, The Associated Press
      Jeff Gannon, Talon News

From what I hear ,many White House staffers have claimed that they first heard of Valeri Plame from a reporter .“Scooter'’ Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney’s chief of staff, told Fitzgerald that he first learned her identity from Tim Russert. Did any of these reporters testify to the grand jury ? ;to Fitzgerald ? What did they say ? Cooper had no problem reporting his direct testimony .Why have these other reporters not ? Did they refuse to cooperate ? If that is so then why is only Judy Miller in jail?
Why the press frenzy over this case and not over Sandy Burger pilfering and destroying classified security documents related to 9-11 ?

Why should Congress grant a shield law when the press appears to be shielding us from the facts ?
