Hi abx12 -- Yes, he did steal. He didn't literally steal money out of pockets, but he certainly guaranteed there was no money for people's retirement. That is theft.

perhaps you missed this part of my answer .He was convicted on fraud, conspiracy and filing false documents with regulators .

That goes way beyond miscounting. He put a hurt on many a loyal investor and employee while he lived a fat cat life off of his fraud. He needs to be punished for it .
