Hello Elliot:
Since this fiasco in Iraq started you have consistantly said that this war could be won "if".....
Your plan is sound. However, you don't seem to understand, that your beloved Bush didn't take your advice and we're losing our ass.
I know we can win. I know we're not winning. Go ahead, tell me we are. I thought you conservatives didn't have your heads in the clouds. It's us who are supposed to be in la la land. Guess what?

I said that they would continue bombing us and causing casualties. I also said that it will do no good.
Do you believe that wars are won or lost based on casualty counts or based on whether one side accomplishes its goals or not. because if you believe the former, then I'm glad that you don't sit in public office, because that is exactly the WRONG way for a war leader to think.
Not to mention that their overall casualties and the number of captured enemy far outweighs anything they have done to us. But that isn't the point.
There have been armies that have suffered 90% casualties and yet still won the war because they accomplished their goals. There have been armies that have not suffered a single casualty, and lost because they backed down. Casualty count doesn't win wars... efficacy and accomplishement of strategic, tactical and political goals does.
