Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004 9:19 p.m. EST Kerry: Bin Laden Cost Me Election
Failed presidential candidate John Kerry is blaming Osama bin Laden for "scaring" voters into re-electing President Bush. Fox News Channel's Geraldo Rivera caught up to Kerry on Thursday in Little Rock, Ark., where he was attending the opening of the Clinton Presidential Library. (seems to me he was trying to scare people into voting for Kerry and it backfired?)
Also I heard that Saddam wants to sue the U.S. for war crimes and going against the Geneva Convention.

>>>Keep what up?<<<
Their insistance that it wasn't their out of touch policies that got Bush elected, but rather other factors like OBL or Bush's "moral values".

Clarification/Follow-up by Yiddishkeit on 11/24/04 9:57 pm: Elliot,
Ok...I see what you alluding to. I don't think it's any strech of the imagination that the Bible belt was lit up red on election day. As for OBL...I think Bush garnished votes on the fear factor no doubt, but I don't agree that the election was lost due to OBL's tv appearance. I'll try and correct this myth if I see it happening by my fellow Democrats. For the record, I remember posting a quick outline why I thought the election went in favor of Mr. Bush a day or two after the results. There are many things that the Democratic party needs to work toward in respect to the 2008 elections.
Thanks, Bobby
