I just read this morning how the team docs are saying that Pettite's elbow should be just fine.

The only questions are:

Are they right, or do they just want to play every card they've got?

and

Do you put him in now (assuming the docs are right) or hope they make it to the Series and put him in then?

Yea they were talking about that during yesterday's game, but not this season. He suits up and watches from the dugout. I wish he was available. I don't believe they would risk further damage to his health, but that would be even more remarkable than Schilling if it could happen.
