I could not believe it and never expected it. At the end of the debates they asked about 'the women in their lives'. As Bush was reminiscing about how he meet Laura at a backyard Texan Bar-B-que; I was anticipating a reply from Kerry of some redeeming quality to Teresa's character and his love & affection for her. I was stunned when he made a joke about marrying UP and quickly changed the subject to his late, beloved mother. I was listening on the radio, but heard that Teresa was not at all happy sitting there listening to this.
minus some points for Kerry! |
Clarification/Follow-up by Yiddishkeit on 10/15/04 10:12 am: Elliot in reply to your comments on my answer go read the comments I placed under PW. I think this is Kerry's second marriage (wife) and I'm not sure that Kerry's current wife is the mother of his children...none-the-less he said he was blessed concerning his wife, daughters and commended Bush on being blessed as well. The man also chose to praise another women in his life his "mother." The man has integrity and I'm really starting to get concerned about this childish sh*t coming from adult "REPUBLICANS."
