How would he conduct the war ? I have no idea . His biggest criticsm seems to be that Bush has not internationalized the war . That is not true . Beyond the disagreement over the Iraq part of the war. There has been a high degree of cooperation with not only our traditional allies ,but also with new allies we have made .
According to David Frum Kerry has criticized Bush both for offending America's traditional allies in the Middle East, and also for not being tougher on the Saudis; both for siding too much with Israel while insisting that he would side with Israel just as much.Where does he stand?
Last night during her speech Theresa Heinz Kerry said that "there is a value in taking a stand," .She should pass that along to her hubby.

He doesn't have to take a stand; it's Bush's war, and Bush's election to lose(or win)over this one issue.
This election is in "God's" hands because it will be determined by what happens in the international sphere between today and November 11th that would sway voters. It is Bush's election to lose. The reputable polls say the voters are split down the middle and have been.

NO CHOU!!! It's AMERICA's war. Like it or not, it's there. There is no ecaping the war. Kerry has to deal with it if he becomes president. He HAS to take a stand. Otherwise nobody will know how he will handle it. And if they don't know what he will do, they will assume that HE doesn't know either... and they will vote for someone who DOES have a plan, even if they don't agree with some or all of it. Because ANY plan is better than no plan at all.

YES ELLIOT!
I'm just telling you all how the election will be won or lost for Bush.
It is all on what happens internationally...catch Osama....or ....horrendous terrorist acts that are successful. Just two examples.
Kerry has already taken a stand; he just hasn't and doesn't have to tell anyone; if he did, he would be guaranteed to lose the election.
