That is what you are missing: this is not a sane situation at all. He's playing exactly by the rules of this insane situation. He's controling the playing field. He's not giving details, because he knows that details can be picked apart by an opponent. That's an old Kennedy trick: speak in generalities, and keep the details to yourself. I see Maria's hand in that. Ans what he is offering the people is an idea... the idea of change from what they currently have. That's all any candidate needs to offer right now, and he's doing it better than any other candidate. Neither Bustamate nor McLintock can match him in this regard. He'll win because he looks better, and speaks with more hope, and gets voters more excited than any other candidate, and he doesn't have to open his policies up to attack in order to do it.
