Ebay hot shot DTHEMAN 02/12/05
    Hi there
Is Ebay primary a place for people who like to compete and win? I have been attempting to purchase an item from there but have found no benefit in doing so when I can purchase the item from several other merchants online for the same price.

I will also note that the time of day a sale closes can mean alot. I have seen alot of computer equipment, be real slow untill the last hour of the sale. Then even in the last 10 minutes the bids will come in every minute or so.

I have lost some on the last minute of the sale.

I have found that the ones that close in the middle of the night, or during working hours, often trade slower at the end, those in the evening hours when more people are apt to be on computers, go faster.
No proof, just from what I have seen.
