Pat Robertson says ... Erewhon 10/20/05
You say you're supposed to be nice to the Episcopalians and the Presbyterians and the Methodists and this, that, and the other thing.

Nonsense, I don't have to be nice to the spirit of the Antichrist.

I can love the people who hold false opinions but I don't have to be nice to them.

To me Pat Robertson is Christian humbug.
I very much disagree with some of his teaching and even more so with many of his opinions.
But if I met him I would try to be nice to him and love him.
Notice his "Nonsense, I don't have to be nice to the spirit of the Antichrist."
See how great a generality his judgment is!
Other denominations are the Antichrist?
He is part of the "Know So Salvation" peddlers but, I do believe he will stand in judgment with everyone else that preaches as he does.
In the case above he might be somewhat right as given by the examples set by Jesus in his dealings with some of the Jerusalem Temple crowd. He loved them, but he was not nice to them.
Peace and kindness,
Fred
