PARANOIA• Who were the people that Cain was afraid would kill him, if no one else was in the planet other than his mother, father and himself? (Genesis 4:14) MURDER OK• Why would God defend Cain after he murdered his brother? (Genesis 4:15) Inquiring minds ... etc

If you are a Christian never mind I already know better. OK try again if you being a non-Christian could share with us why you think the order of events are mutually exclusive to just a single family or a certain time-line. I understand the story as a part of history as well as my Faith and there are many details throughout the Bible that were not chosen due to the lack of importance. There is a gap in the New Testament considering Jesus life. But the important thing is to accept Him as Messiah for the Gospel accounts for Him being the Lord and Saviour.
