Well, that stopped the clock, but, now for a serious question ... Erewhon 10/23/05
As a Christian or any kind of believer, "Do you believe that your first duty is to your God or to the President/ruler of your nation, and what do you do if you truly believe that your President/ruler is not doing God's will in something? Who do you choose - God or the President/ruler"

Please - no lists of names!

The witch hunt is temporarily on hold.

Ron: Sorry but I'm going to get a little philosophical since you gave me a black star. I'll just say that the "mysticism of feeling and the metaphysics of will are not able to do justice to the penetration of REALITY by intuitive thinking." It should go without saying that my first duty is to God. If Bush is not "doing God's will," God will allow Himself to judge Bush' performance when the time comes. My free-will tells me that I can think what I please. Bush finishes in second place 'down here.' If push comes to shove, I would choose God, of course.

This is not a bonafide question, Ron. One is 'up there' and the other is 'down here.' One is metaphysical and the other is real. My relationship with God is a private matter and not open to comparing apples and oranges. He has Salvation on His mind when thinking of me and He knows that I'm doing quite well when he isn't. President Bush should be considered as being 'our Savior' on Earth because he's suppose to be taking care of us all. When you consider what Bush has had on his plate since taking office, I feel that no other person could have done as well. If Bush is doing something against God's will, it's not for me to judge his standing as a Christian. So, I'll just say this: My first duty 'down here' is to God AND to Bush. My first duty 'up there' is to GOD ... period ... "and never the twain shall meet."
