Pat Robertson says ... Erewhon 10/20/05
You say you're supposed to be nice to the Episcopalians and the Presbyterians and the Methodists and this, that, and the other thing.

Nonsense, I don't have to be nice to the spirit of the Antichrist.

I can love the people who hold false opinions but I don't have to be nice to them.

    -Pat Robertson

Robertson is engaged in circling the Evangelical Wagons against the "enemies" of his version of truth, justice and the American way.

This extreme speech indicates to me that he sees that **all is lost** for their social/political/ecomonic causes due to the many failures of the Bush Administration. Mainstream Americans(Moderates) have turned against the right wing religious crazies...bigtime. Moderate Americans are about maybe 70% of the Ameridan population.

Scaring his simple-minded followers is his last stand. Strengthing his base and hence political power is his motive. How to do it? Scare tactics and lies and divisiveness. Decent Americans are against them now, however. It was a hard fight, but it is over. I can now rest. :)

They are through on the national stage.
