Iraqi Elections |

Looks like the Iraqi Elections are going to be a huge success! *Phew* Many of the people have gotten behind the idea of voting and having a say in their government. Actually, loving the idea. (Per polls)I hope that this potential success will prove America right for being pro active in going after the causes of Islamofascism.
What are your thoughts about the upcoming elections? |

I'm hopeful that people will be protected in their venture to freedom. It will need to be extremely well guarded, although there is bound to be some casualties - as there is daily over there. It must be frightening to think about participating but I believe they will do it in spite of that.
What surprises me is that Naturalized Americans who were born there, or those who had at least one parent born there, can register and vote in that election while a citizen here. The Chaldeans have set up huge polling areas to encourage their people to assist in gaining Democracy for those still there. I haven't heard if the Muslim population is participating in the same way.
I'm excited for them to have the change so badly needed. Once the election is over, within a short time span I would expect the 'insurgents' to find more exciting battles & move on.
