hi, i have been presented with an opportunity to get a very basic entry level softwrae testing position... i was just wondering if anyone had any pointers on how you market your covering letter for software testing positions at entry level. any pointers would be great along with examples of websites that demonstrate what entails a good software testing covering letter. thank you, rag.

I doubt very seriously if you would find an example so specific. Since this is an entry level position, they, presumably, aren't expecting much in experience. So the key is to promote skills you have that match their requirements. Most importantly would be throughness and attention to detail. Look back over the job description and try to provide examples in your past that illustrate a match for the requirements. HTH Scott<>
