hi, i have been presented with an opportunity to get a very basic entry level softwrae testing position... i was just wondering if anyone had any pointers on how you market your covering letter for software testing positions at entry level. any pointers would be great along with examples of websites that demonstrate what entails a good software testing covering letter. thank you, rag.

rag, Ifind when you are in the resume/interview/cover letter stage the company wants to "take you apart" to see what you are made of. People who "move up" in the world don't forget that it's your job to "take the company apart " to see if they are a match. If you have this as your focus and not I'll do anything to get the job. You will always win!! My advice is to get book from the library of ask professional at the book store on interviewing and business writting. Just mention what you have but stress what you can do. Don't worry they will train you. Stand out. I would suggest any selling book by Tom Hopkins because you have to sell yourself before anything elce happens. BTYEM, Geraldask
