ex,
Of course I still support Bush. Do I walk in lockstep? No, never have. Sometimes I'd like to take him aside and slap him silly - like on immigration, energy and spending. I think he needs to be more of himself and less of a scripted politician. He's good at taking the lead but not keeping the momentum going - partly because the media and the democrats won't allow it - and partly because he's just not visible and vocal enough. And when he is visible it's well, too scripted.
Otherwise, the economy is booming, unemployment is extremely low, the stock market is soaring, millions of jobs have been added and we've had no more terrorist attacks here. I am however, resigned to the idea that he can't win for losing. The image the left has managed to create is things are hopeless, everything is his fault and he is public enemy #1 - though I remain confident history will tell a much different story shortly after he's gone.
