I Just Voted Absentee Ballot	jackreade	10/07/06
I thought this would be interesting for the Politics Board...I just voted Absentee Ballot for Illinois, DuPage County, Downers Grove 058, and the following Proposition appeared on the ballot....and surprised me totally: "Shall the United States Government immediately begin an orderly and rapid withdrawal of all its military personnel from Iraq, begining with the National Guard and reserves?" I'd like to add that I live in one of the most heavily Republican Counties in the country. Many Republican candidated run unopposed. Again, I was surprised. I wonder if anyone knows if something like this will appear on your ballot?

Not that I've seen in our Proposition publication... and this is CA!
