US authorities say they have disrupted the early stages of a plot to attack New York City's mass transit system. The alleged plot was discovered during routine monitoring of internet chatrooms used by extremist groups... I don't make a point of frequenting chat rooms, however, if I did, I certainly wouldn't mislead myself that the conversation was in anyway private.
