Hello Bush guys: Our Justice Department decided to recommend only a $10 billion fine against the tobbaco companies who are again on trial. The cost of the non smoking program they are suing for is going to be $130 billion and they WERE asking for that much. But, they caved and dropped it to $10 bil. Do you think it has anything to do with his business buddies? When is the administration going to come down on the side of the "people"? excon

About tobacco companies, they all have diversified into owning other businesses(non-tobacco) to protect themselves and their stockholders against total destruction. That being said, yes, tobacco is a southern business, a red state business with red state jobs and red state profits. Just my opinion. Regards, Mary Sue
