Vicious Attacks on the Judicial Branch Choux 04/09/05
    I'm still alarmed by the vicious attacks on the Judicial Branch of the Federal Government by the likes of Tom Delay.....

    Comments like they are not answerable to the people for their decisions. OF COURSE THEY AREN'T ANSWERABLE TO THE PEOPLE!!!!!! Checks and balances on the Congress and Executive Branch who are elected by the people.

    The redical religious right is a threat to the Constitution of the United States of America. There is no doubt in my mind that they want to "overthrow" the government. We the decent people must protect our Constitution.

    Not only do they want to take away the function of the court system which is TO **IMPARTIALLY** JUDGE THE LAWS THAT CONGRESS PASSES AND INTERPRET THE CONSTITUTIONALITY OF JUDICIAL DECISIONS AND COURT CASES they want to make America a Christian theocracy.

      Clarification/Follow-up by Choux on 04/09/05 7:03 pm:
      REPUBLICANS STARTED THE HATE ATTACKS ON DEMOCRATS STARTING WITH THE "WILLIE HORTON ADS"......DEMONIZING DEMOCRATS HAS BEEN THEIR STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE. TURNABOUT IS FAIL PLAY WHEN DEALING WITH LIARS AND SPINNERS AND PROPAGANDISTS.

      REPUBLICANS ARE THROUGH. DECENT PEOPLE WILL SEE TO IT.

      Is this part of that "we the decent people" crowd?

      "Progressive" shop sells Delay suicide shirts, using the slogan "We can dream, can't we?" The shirt reads:

      Dear Tom Delay,

      Please commit suicide.

      Sincerely,
      Everyone

      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      That's pathetic.
Choux,
>>The redical religious right is a threat to the Constitution of the United States of America.<<
Why, because we believe it should be honored?
>>There is no doubt in my mind that they want to "overthrow" the government<<
You have it backwards, we're tired of government overthrowing the people.
>>We the decent people must protect our Constitution.<<
Who is this "we" you're talking about? The people that believe the constitution protects innocent life, the right to worship, allows for God in government but not a state church? The people that know there are moral absolutes, that truth and standards of decency matter? Or the "decent" people that believe in death for the innocent, pardon for the guilty, facts, standards, morals and truth are irrelevent, that believe the influence of Christianity in this nation must be stopped at all cost?
>>Not only do they want to take away the function of the court system which is TO **IMPARTIALLY** JUDGE...<<
As opposed to say the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, or The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court which "gave the Massachusetts state Legislature six months to rewrite the state's marriage laws for the benefit of gay couples" as CNN put it?
>>they want to make America a Christian theocracy<<
Yeah, like all us Christians agree on everything already.
