Anti virus on a flash drive?	jocase	03/02/06
I have a friend with an infected machine. The machine will not connect to the internet. I cannot download a free program to scan the machine. Norton installed on the machine will not work. Does anyone know of an anti virus program that can be downloaded to a flash drive? It would only be as up to date as when it was downloaded but it would give me a place to start. All guesses, rumors and actual facts accepted. John

i would suggest download avg onto the flash drive and install that onto the pc u can get avg from www.grisoft.com and look for the free version or google for it.
