| Microsoft Encarta vs. Encyclopedia Britannica Suite |
Ccl471 |

Microsoft's website says that Encarta is the best-selling encyclopedia software. If that's true, then is it better than Encyclopedia Britannica 2006 Ultimate Reference Suite?
But would Wikipedia be good enough so that I would be better off saving my money and not buying either of the above two products?
Many thanks,
C.L.

In my opinion I prefer the E.B. 6000 which I have rather than the Encarta.
However, I must confess that unless you need to be absolutely certain of your findings, so far your best bet is the Wikipedia. It has many more entries than Britannica and Encarta put together and I would say that, in general, it is rather reliable.
And certainly, ceaper!
