it's so confusing as i called the department and I cant seem to get a straight answer out of them-if the money wasnt earned during the time frame that I am covering I dont know how to do log it.
your answer seem feasible and a friend of mine okayed it. this is california and they are different there. it takes about 1/2hour to get through to them/if at all;so Fr_Chuck is there anything you know about california?

      Clarification/Follow-up by sunnier on 01/31/04 2:33 pm:
i finally checked it out with them and Fr_Chuck was right;it matter when you made that money not when the check arrived.

The money was not earned that week, so at least under the state laws where I have had dealings
specificilly GA, that is not income for that week, merely past pay for prior weeks work,
That is not reported.

In GA, you report any "work" done, even if not paid that week. Example would be if you worked 20 hours, for 100 dollars, but would not recieve that money for another week, you still report the work and the est money you would recieve.

It is not when you recieve the money that is nomally looked at, but when the work was done.
At least for the unemployment laws I am used to.

Now this may or may not be the case in your state.
