Outlook Express email haribob 06/20/05
I've ben using O.E. for years but a new problem has cropped up. I use DSL, Windows 2000 and Earthlink. Lately I find that I cannot send or forward an email using only the bcc address: I must have a primary addressee and then I can add others to the bcc. Sprint (my DSL) and Earthlink have not been able to help on this. Is this some new kind of security that MS has introduced? Any help will be appreciated.

As the bcc is a "blind carbon copy" meant to not be seen by the primary recipient, I am curious why you would want to use it without a primary address.

I am a new user of Outlook 2003 and I sent a test message to myself using only the bcc.
My name (which was in the bcc field) appears in the inbox as if it were the primary.

John
