I'm looking at surge protectors on jr.com and target.com. Here are some of the brands I've seen: Belkin, Tripplite, Power Sentry, and Monster Cable. I want to buy one for my desktop pc and its peripherals, and one for my audio/video system. I am looking for ones with equipment warranties. Can you recommend me a brand that is reliable and has a good price? Many thanks, C.L.

I think you should repost this under computer hardware or something. Somebody such as Scott Gem should see it and give a better answer than I can. You may want to look at the whole house ones too that go in your breaker box too.
