First why are toasters required to have a ground plug especially with all that metal Second, how is a person to split a duplex GFCI for use in kitchens. That is now code in Ontario. The GFCI I have do not have the breakaway tabs Thanks |

Call an electrician and ask these questions, you may have to call several til you get the right answers for the codes in your area.
Toasters can easily electricute people, due to liquids. |
