Election day is the first Tuesday in November, which is 4 Nov this year.

Hillary Clinton spent far more than 8 million dollars on her campaign but that figure may represent the amount she *loaned* her campaign out of her own (and ex-president Bill's) personal fortune.

It could be argued that Hillary Clinton is still campaigning for the presidency, she has simply been forced to change her hopes because she will not be elected in 2008. We can expect that she will be campaigning on Obama's behalf for the next couple of months, though how visible she will be is largely a function of how newsworthy the major media consider her to be. She's still a Senator from New York, so her political career is hardly over.
