| If we run out of oil |

I am writing an essay on the importance of oil to the humans. The essay is a cause and effect essay. I need to point out atleast three major effects if, sometime in the future, all of the oil resources we have today go to depletion. Our teacher does not want the effects to be something somewhat common knowledge. She wants to hear effects that are really exciting, surprising, and uncommon to most knowledge. As an example, she does not want to read about the bankrupcy of transportation bussinesses and its aftermatch of unemployment. She told me that this effect is a common knowledge and most people know about it. Can you tell what would be the three (uncommon) effects that might follow if the world run out of oil. |

good ;I'm glad she does not want to see the negative effects of the temporary adjustment that will need to occure ,and to some extent is being planned for already.
I can tell you that with or without oil human energy needs will not change . You could talk about the future of petrolium alternatives
or possibly the persuit of alternatives gets humans to increasingly looking to the sky and a renewed effort at space exploration .
or possibly if a clean renewable alternative is discovered how the geopolitical equation would change as societies have no more need to compete for a dwindling resource.
