Hi fredg--
I want to buy a cheap webcam that I can use for chats. It would be a bonus if it comes with decent images too. Do you have any experience/advice on any brands/models that I can take a look?
My second question concerns buying a digital camera. I want to buy a 3+ megapixel dig. cam to take shots and video recordings of my soon-to-arrive-baby. Are there any brands/models that you can recommend? Or, do you know any websites (other than cnet, which I have already checked) for reviews?
Thank you for your time and help!

Hi, I am not that experienced with webcams, so wouldn't want to guess. But, as to the digital camera: I now use a Nikon CoolPix, 4460, and really like it. Easy to use on the Auto setting, and has so many manual settings that it's like having a 35 mm camera also. They are around $200 or so. Any digital camera nowadays takes good pictures, but don't buy one for less than $100......the lens aren't that good, compared to those over $100. Best wishes, fredg |
