Please help.
Oh, Fred!!!!!!!! It is so wonderful seeing you in THIS category where I need HELP !
I am using Win XP.
I have a new digital camera that uses a ScanDisk Memory Stick Pro 256 MB.
I just learned how to pop the stick in my tower and download the pics and can manipulate them and do all I want.
Question: Can I safely take the pictures I don’t want off the stick?
Do I have to format this stick after downloading pictures?
I have visions of every time I download new pics I will be downloading all the old pictures also.
Help!
Thank you. Greenlea

Hi, My digital camera came with a manual of "how to use". There is a section on how to delete pics not wanted. You will have to check your manual on your particular camera. Mine has a "delete" button, which can be pressed after pressing another button to view pictures. There is also a button to press to see the next picture. If you can't find it, you can download ALL the pictures to the computer, then delete ALL of them, using the computer, from the camera. Then you can delete the pictures you don't want from the computer. My particular camera, when connected to the computer with the USB cable, and turned on, shows Drive F in My Computer. From there, I can Left double click on Drive F, and it opens up another window, to double click on the camera name. From there I can view all pics on the camera, and copy and past them anywhere, like to My Pictures. I can also delete them from the camera from there. Best of luck, fredg |
