Canon SD110 Memory Card kafarnham 10/28/04
My Canon camera came with a 16M card. The instructions say that a 128M card can be used.
Is it safe to use a newer 512M card? Any heat or power concerns?

No heat concerns. And if the camera is older, it will probably work since the documentation may have been written when 128M cards were the top. I'd double check with Canon, though.

One other point. 512 can hold an awful lot of pictures. Over 200 with a 5 megapixel camera in high quality mode. Lower the mode and you can fit much more. Do you really need the ability to take over 200 pictures without reloading? Might you not be better off getting 4 128M cards which may cost less.

Hope this helps,
