| HOW TO RETRIEVE DELETED PHOTOS FROM M/MEDIA CARD |
DIDDLES |

While using my digital camera, I have accidentally pressed delete and sent photos to the rubbish bin. The card has not be re-used. Is there some way to retrieve them back? |

Maybe.
There are a number of programs available that do picture recovery from deleted or damaged memory cards. The one I've had personal experience with was called:
Photo Rescue PC
from
http://www.datarescue.com/photorescue/
but if you do a search on Google for terms like "memory card recovery" or "media card photo recovery", you'll probably find a bunch of others.
The way these programs work is to read the raw data on the memory card and ignore the file system (which is the level at which "delete" operations occur). Most of the time, your photos were in a deleted subdirectory — the format of a deleted directory can be easily recognized by a program — and it will lead to everything that is needed to completely recover your photos.
If you're shopping for one of these programs (I never found one that was completely free), it is worth checking to see if they have a free version that will examine your memory card to determine whether it thinks there is anything to recover. That way you'll be more assured that spending your money will actually result in recovering your pictures.
