| Teeth bleaching question |

Hi there,
I'm a 38-yr-old male and, for a lot of my life, I didn't take good care of my teeth.
After three painful cavities, I now do the recommended daily cleaning of my teeth.
A problem I have though is that my teeth are somewhat yellowish and I wish they were whiter.
But I also have a low income and I can't afford bleaching in a dentist's office.
Drugstores have many teeth bleaching products.
I was wondering what your professional opinion is of the OTC bleaching products?
Do you think they are effective?
Thanks a lot.

Clarification/Follow-up by willbe on 11/29/03 2:55 am: clarification:
I did not mean to sound like I am advertising for the product I recommended. I know it works and I know it works fast for most people who use it because I know several friends and several relatives who use it with good results. I tried it myself and got whiter teeth the first time I used it. I know many people who have used the product I suggested, none of them had any problems with it and they all were happy with the results.

Try Plus+White 5 minute Teeth Whitener Gel
(they also have whitening toothpaste)
It works very well and it works fast, most people see noticeably whiter teeth within the first day or so of use.
Much cheaper than the dentist
