I am just curious, I am told by my dentist that I need a filling. When do they think it's necessary to do a filling, for example do they start filling tiny holes or midsize holes, etc.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance. |

My dentist does not fill every time he sees a cavity. He says "we will watch this one". Sometimes it gets watched for a year before he fills it.
You know you are getting older when you need to have fillings removed and refilled because they start to loosen up. Takes about 20 to 30 yrs to loosen. (See what you have to look forward to?)
If you go for checkups regularly, you save yourself a lot of trouble.
